Join us for an informal conversation with Samip Mallick, Executive Director of the South Asian American Digital Archive (SAADA) to learn about their Revolution Remix walking tour and other projects of relevance to APALA membership. The tour itself takes two hours and explores South Asian American history, starting at the Liberty Bell and winding through Old City to the Delaware River. SAADA’s work is deeply relevant to archives, digital scholarship and the role of libraries in promoting social justice.

The building is right off of the 19th Street stop on all the trolley lines. About a 10 minute walk from Suburban Station, for anyone taking regional rail into Philadelphia.
Participants may join us for lunch ahead of time at Noon at Amma's Restaurant. Lunch is pay on your own.
